3. How We Use Your Information

Provide and operate the Socdub messaging service
Deliver push notifications for messages, game updates, and prediction results
Review uploaded content for policy compliance; automated image moderation is still being expanded during beta
Generate AI-powered game narratives and insights using game statistics and product context; we do not intentionally send private chat message content to AI services
Index usernames and display names for user search

Server-side data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure
Local data on your device is stored in an encrypted database
Session credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain (hardware-encrypted)
All communication uses TLS/HTTPS

7. Data Retention

Login sessions automatically expire after 4 weeks of inactivity — you are logged out, but your account and data remain
Your account and associated data (messages, profile, predictions) persist while your account is active
You can request account deletion in the app or by contacting privacy@socdub.com
Deletion removes or anonymizes direct profile data. Shared chat and prediction records may be retained without your profile details where needed for room integrity, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations.

8. Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
Correction: Update your profile information in the app at any time
Deletion: Request account deletion in Settings or by emailing privacy@socdub.com
European users: Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

9. Children's Privacy

You must meet the minimum age required in your country to use Socdub. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age threshold. If we learn we have collected data from someone below the applicable threshold, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of Socdub after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
